Wyldheart Slurper’s Den: Exit Rope & Dungeon Help
Talk to the NPC beside the exit rope and click the dialogue options until you reach the end of the conversation. Official issue WYL-1001 confirms this workaround. For the Hooded Stranger, the developer points to the dialogue option on the right-hand side.

At the exit rope
Official known issue WYL-1001 identifies the exit-rope interaction: talk to the NPC near the rope and read through the entire conversation, clicking the available options to advance each dialogue line.
The developer’s October 9 pinned tip also says to use the right-hand dialogue option when you encounter the Hooded Stranger. The team is working on clearer dialogue presentation. This is a confirmed interaction workaround, not a claim that a released hotfix already changed the dialogue interface.
- Speak to the Hooded Stranger. If you have reached this encounter, open the conversation.
- Advance through the entire conversation. Click the dialogue options to continue to the end. The Hooded Stranger tip points to the right-hand side of the screen.
- Check the exit again. If the rope remains unusable, record the dialogue and quest state for an official support report.
- Check a campaign that will not load
Loading problems require different checks from an NPC dialogue block.
- Bind an unlocked magic skill
Have the required Grimoire equipped before holding T outside the menu.
When the path seems blocked
The team’s demo tips say that attacking many dungeon mushrooms can expose additional paths. They also say to aim the crosshair directly at an object or loot when interacting.
These tips help distinguish an unclear route from an interaction that is not registering. They are not a map of the dungeon: no hidden-switch sequence, compass direction or mandatory loot item is claimed here.
Locked doors and hidden items
The official tips explain that some hidden items and locked doors depend on higher skill levels. Review the Skills tab and the requirement you encounter. An object that requires a skill is different from an exit whose dialogue has not advanced.
For spell assignment, use the separate equip-spells guide. Learning magic and binding it are distinct actions; neither is evidence that a dungeon door should automatically open.
Where this dungeon fits
The launch announcement identifies The Slurper’s Den as the demo’s mushroom-themed dungeon. It describes leaving the dungeon for Rivermere and exploring the wider Whisperwoods area, which includes three additional dungeons.
This page focuses on the supported exit and exploration checks. For a route or encounter beyond these checks, consult the current in-game journal and the official community.
If the exit is still stuck
Include the build, the NPC dialogue you completed, the quest state, and whether you were in solo or multiplayer. Avoid restarting a campaign purely on the assumption that this interaction requires it. If you were playing offline, exiting will lose progress; review the saving guide first.
